BEDiGiT is committed to achieving four core objectives:
- Promote Digital Inclusion and Diversity:
- We aim to create training materials that help individuals develop essential digital skills, ensuring equal access to technology and online resources. By addressing gaps in digital literacy and accessibility, BEDiGiT works to reduce barriers that hinder full digital participation. Beyond direct training, we also provide input and support the development of inclusive digital policies and industry best practices that will enhance long-term accessibility.
- Foster Environmental Sustainability:
- As digital consumption continues to grow, BEDiGiT highlights the environmental impact of digital technologies and advocates for sustainable digital behaviors. Training modules cover energy-efficient technologies, responsible e-waste disposal, and eco-friendly digital habits, helping individuals and organizations adopt greener digital practices. By encouraging the adoption of sustainable digital tools, BEDiGiT contributes to reducing the carbon footprint of digital operations across multiple sectors.
- Enhance Digital Trust and Cybersecurity:
- To strengthen online safety, BEDiGiT provides training and best practices on cybersecurity, digital ethics, and privacy protection. The project helps users recognize cyber threats, implement security measures, and navigate digital platforms with confidence, thereby reinforcing trust in digital platforms.
